Libyan Foreign Minister Mohammed Abdulaziz arrived in Paris Tuesday on a visit during which he will chair the international ministerial conference on security in Libya, due to kick off later today with participation of foreign ministers and senior officials the EU and US, as well as representatives of regional and international organizations. The Libyan Foreign Minister is scheduled to address the conference to confirm Libya’s urgent need to the support and assist from its international partners “The Friends of Libya” in the areas of security, justice and the rule of law by developing and implementing working programs; and sending experts and specialists to achieve the desired objectives. The Minister will brief the participants on the Libyan on the government’s efforts to establish security in all parts of the country and to build the state of law. He will also highlight the challenges it face to implement its programs in this regard especially at the level of security, border management and the increasing phenomenon of illegal immigration.
