Libyan chargé d'affaires in Amman Nour Uddin Dabbagh highly valued His Majesty King Abdullah's support of the Libyan people, noting efforts and stance of His Majesty the King towards Arab issues. In remark at a ceremony held on Thursday to mark the "February 17 Revolution", Dabbagh stressed the strong historical ties between the Jordanian and Libyan peoples, noting that thousands of Libyans received medical treatment in Jordan. He also outlined efforts underway to promote democracy in Libya. The ceremony was attended by Jordanian officials and members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps.
