Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zaidan held Tuesday a meeting with Egypt's Chief of Staff Sedki Sobhi to discuss means of boosting military cooperation in the fields of training and exchanging expertise. Sobhi arrived in the Libyan capital Tripoli on Tuesday, leading an Egyptian military delegation on a two-day visit to the North African country. Zaidan said the Egyptian delegation's visit is a start of a close cooperation between the two countries to bring about peace in the region. For his part, Sobhi said that his visit to Libya is a gesture to launch strategic cooperation. Present at the meeting was Libyan Chief of Staff Yousef al-Mangoush.
