
A limited fire started at the nuclear medicine department in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital on Tuesday, but the incident caused little damage and no injuries. Health Undersecretary Dr. Khalid Al-Sahlawi said that an electrical malfunction led to the fire in the electrical equipment room adjacent to the nuclear medicine department. He noted that the hospital's administration had extinguished the fire immediately and fixed the malfunction. Director of the hospital Dr. Hassan Al-Dosari also confirmed that there were no casualties in the fire or any serious damage, adding that all departments continued their work day normally after the flames were doused.
