Maalouf: Small districts project best alternative for Orthodox

"Lebanese Forces" bloc (LF) member Deputy Joseph Maalouf said that the hybrid law might be the alternative for the Orthodox law and in case differences remained LF would support the Orthodox law. "LF placed the small districts law and 50-districts but in case orthodox law is not approved small then districts law would be the best alternative," he confirmed. The MP added that LF adopted the Orthodox law for better Christian representation and due to the failure to reach an alternative draft," the MP told "Free Lebanon" radio. The MP stressed that 1960 law was rejected from the entire political segment.
