Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called on the entire Venezuelan people to work together with the National Government to build and solidify real peace. Maduro, in a message written at his twitter, welcomed the implementation of Safe Homeland plan in San Agustin parish, Caracas, with 450 officers of Bolivarian National Armed Force, Bolivarian National Police and Caracas Police. "I invite you all to work for real peace," Maduro said, the official Venezuelan AVN news agency reported. As an initiative of the Revolutionary Government to reduce crime rates in Venezuela, face insecurity and foster a culture of peace, the Movement for Peace and Life, launched last March. Such movement joins state and social forces to end the culture of violence in the country. The Safe Homeland Plan, which counts on the joint effort of Armed Force and regional police bodies, was also launched to ensure citizens' safety and welfare.
