So-called 'Magnitsky list' will be published April 13 at the latest and the U.S. will bear the full brunt of responsibility for the aftermath of this step, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Friday. “As far as I know, the US Administration didn’t publish a list of this sort as of Monday afternoon but the fact is that the Congress decision says the list should be published April 13 at the latest,” he said. “In whatever situation, we proceed from the assumption that the list will be published in the coming few days,” Ryabkov went on. “We’ve warned many a time that its publication will trigger a retaliatory step on our side and each time we issue such warnings we say this isn’t our choice and we’d like to avert a yet another outburst of emotions.” “The situation may affect rather deplorably the already complicated course of Russian-American relations but, sadly enough, our U.S. partners and the people in the Administration and the US Congress who crave after compiling such lists didn’t heed our warnings and calls,” he said. “They’ll bear the full brunt of responsibility for the aftermaths of their motion,” Ryabkov said. “Quite naturally, we have a list of our own, too, and the public quarters in both Russia and the US will have an opportunity to get familiarized with it timely” after Washington announces the names of Russian officials whom it will deny an entry to the US in line with the so-called Sergei Magnitsky Rule of Law Accountability Act.
