Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Saturday met Chadian Ambassador in Cairo Mahamat Habib Doutoum to discuss bilateral cooperation fields.
Mahlab said recently signed Memorandums of Understanding must be activated in the fields of health, agriculture, livestock, higher education and scientific research.
The ambassador briefed Mahlab on problems of Chadian students in Egypt, and the Prime Minister phoned Higher Education Minister Sayed Abdel Khaleq to solve them.
Mahlab also phoned Agriculture Minister Salah Helal and tasked him to send a veterinarian and quarantine delegation to check the health status of livestock in Chad, so that Egypt can import Chadian meat.
The Egyptian-Chadian higher committee should be held as soon as possible, Mahlab stressed.
