
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Dr. Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, will inaugurate the 13th Conference of Islamic Capitals and Cities in Makkah on 1st of September, with the participation of more than 400 members of the Organization of Islamic Capitals and Cities. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the Mayor of Makkah, Dr. Osama bin Fadhel Al-Bar, as saying that the King's patronage of the three-day conference embodies his keenness on supporting the works of the Organization of Islamic Capitals and Cities to play its roles fully towards the achievement of sustainable development in Islamic capitals and cities and the preservation of their identity and heritage.
