Mali's Interim President Dioncounda Traore said his country is willing to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation with Syria.Traore made the overture on Syria's national day in a congratulatory message to Syrian President Bashar Al Assad, Xinhua reported."The celebration of your country's National Day offers me an opportunity to wish Your Excellency and the Syrian people, on behalf of the Malian people and my own behalf, the very best," a statement from the Malian Presidency said."I want to use this opportunity to reaffirm to you my willingness to continue strengthening the existing friendly relations and cooperation between Syria and Mali," Traore added.He wished Al Assad good health and expressed desire to see the Syrian people progress and prosper
