A suspected terrorist was arrested in Brescia, Italy, Thursday on suspicion that he was planning to attack a synagogue in Milan, police said. The 20-year-old Moroccan citizen, living in Italy since he was 6, also was suspected of setting up secret Facebook pages that posted instructions on using weapons and making bombs, Italy's ANSA news agency reported. Police said they found evidence on the suspect's computer that he reconnoitered the synagogue and had information on its security measures and the police who guard the building. Investigators said they also intercepted communications in which the man talked about a "jihad mission." Related investigations were being carried out in the United States and Britain, ANSA reported. London police said they detained a woman who has been in contact with suspect in the Milan case. While Italian police haven't detained anyone else, they said they couldn't rule out the possibility that the man may have accomplices.
