Maritime troops extinguish fire on Cambodian ship

Maritime troops were able to put out a fire that erupted on a ship hoisting the flag of Cambodia while waiting at the southern entrance to the Suez Canal.
The maritime troops completely extinguished the flames and the ship was evacuated, said military spokesman Mohamed Samir on Saturday.
Thirteen crew members were on board the ship, including six Egyptians. The other seven are Indians.
No injuries were reported.
