Minister of Interior Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa honored today a number of citizens and residents who have been dedicated and assisted the police in a number of cases, and contributed to achieving comprehensive security across Bahrain. During a ceremony marking the Social Partnership Day, the Minister expressed pleasure to renew the message of security communication, which is one of the reform steps included in HM the King's reform project that aim to activate social security and preserve public security. He said that police force deployment across the country is to stop acts of chaos, violence and terrorism, adding that all procedures taken by the police are to perform their responsibilities in preserving security and enforce public order. The Minister expressed pleasure in honoring scores of citizens and residents who assisted the police in a number of cases, expressing appreciation and gratitude, saying that through the sense of national responsibility, security presence is doubled in combating crime. He called on everyone to ease the security forces' responsibilities, through documenting any kind of crime or terrorist attacks so as to provide the police with evidence to catch criminals. He noted that the ministry has finished preparing a bill for volunteering in serving the public security, which has been presented to the cabinet, and has been transferred to the legal committee for further study. The Minister finished his speech ,wishing Bahrain and its people further security and stability.
