Mauritania condemns Mansoura blast

Mauritania has strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack that targeted Mansoura security directorate building in the early hours of Tuesday, describing it as a 'heinous terrorist act'. "Such criminal act contradicted with Islam's values," the Mauritanian Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement Thursday. The statement showed the country's solidarity with Egypt, expressing its sympathy with families of the victims. At least 16 people were killed and nearly 134 wounded in a massive explosion at the security compound in Egypt's Nile Delta of Mansoura.
