Mauritanian president receives message from Syrian counterpart

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad sent a message on Monday to his Mauritanian counterpart Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz. The message was conveyed by Deputy Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr Fayssal Mikdad during a meeting with President Ould Abdel Aziz today. The Mauritanian President underlined the importance of consolidating bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing the significance of coordinating efforts to confront challenges facing the Arab countries. Dr Mikdad reviewed during the meeting the events in Syria over the past months.
