
The meetings of the first political consultative committee between Sudan and Sweden started Tuesday at the premises of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry.
The meeting took up means to boost bilateral ties and promote mutual support in the regional and international gatherings.
The participants tackled the positive role of Sudan in settling a number of regional crises including the crises in South Sudan, Libya, Central Africa, Yemen and Syria.
An agreement has been reached to boost developmental, humanitarian, economic and investment cooperation.
Also both sides agreed on increasing scholarships granted to Sudan especially in the health field.
The Swedish delegation asserted that the talks were fruitful and constructive, pointing out to the concord of stances between both countries in several regional and international issues.
