There are no changes to Chancellor Angela Merkel’s invitation to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to visit Germany, said German Government Spokesman Steffen Seibert.
In press statements, published by the German Embassy in Cairo Wednesday, the spokesman hailed Egypt's crucial role in the Arab region.
Egypt can play a key role in the region's stability and issues, including the Middle East problem, he added.
The German government is keen on continuing dialogue with Egypt, he affirmed.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of German Federal President Joachim Gauck said that his meeting with Sisi still exists.
The spokesman further said that the talks will tackle bilateral ties along with the regional and international developments.
