
A program manager who allegedly sexually assaulted a co-worker at the Redmond, Wash., Microsoft campus has been charged with rape. Vineet Kumar Srivastava, 36, was charged in a King County court of raping a cleaning employee after luring her into his office July 22, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported Tuesday. Srivastava allegedly told police the employee forced him to have sex with her. A company spokeswoman said Srivastava no longer is employed by Microsoft. A Redmond police detective told the court the employee was cleaning an office when Srivastava approached her at 11 pm.
