Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Tuesday reiterated support to the Lebanese Army Forces and affirmed that tampering with the institution shall result in an intense judicial pursuit. Mikati patronized today the "Monetary Review in Legislation and Law Implementation 220/2000" launching ceremony of the Lebanese Physical Handicapped Union, held at the Grand Serail. "We call again for detaching the Lebanese Judiciary from political quarrels," Mikati said stressing the Lebanese Judiciary's integrity. The PM said political speeches ought to be at the level of challenges lying ahead and stressed the need to consider the security situation as a red line "if we sought reinforcing peace and stability." Mikati went on to say that the "national responsibility lies not solely on the constitutional institutions but is a partnership act among all components." He explained that the Lebanese Commands ought to ensure adequate climate to lessen tension and eliminate sectarian mobilization. "The executive power is strengthened with constructive criticism that ought to rectify its path," he remarked and asserted that the Freedom bestowed upon the Deputies was something not to be undermined.
