Mikati: The GreekOrthodox law won't pass

The Greek-Orthodox law won't pass, since it contradicts the essence and spirit of Lebanese existence and confessional peaceful coexistence, Prime Minister Najib Mikati twitted today. We must all work together towards drafting a fairly representative law of all the Prime Minister retorted. He cited the failed example of the 15-years' civil war with all what this entailed of federative projects. The preponderant majority of the Lebanese wish to live together in a unified country and it would be unfair to give in to an essentially divisive Orthodox Law bound to fragment "Lebanese spiritual families" Mikati twitted.
