
Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water Abdulaziz Abdullatif Al-Ibrahim held an emergency meeting on Saturday with the high ranking officials from the ministries to review the preparations for the anticipated heavy rains this week. The Ministry of Public Works said in a statement that the meeting was attended by Director-General of Kuwait Municipality Ahmad Al-Subih. The meeting focused on preparedness of the ministries and the Municipality in case of heavy rains forecast for the coming few days. The statement added that Al-Ibrahim urged all officials to make efforts and take all precautionary measures to cope with any problems that may rise due to heavy rains. The civil aviation general administration and meteorological Department predicted that the country will be witnessing unstable weather starting tomorrow (Sunday) and will be last for days within a chance of heavy rains
