
Belarus is keen to add momentum to its relations with Egypt in the current period, Belarusian Trade Minister Vladimir Koltovich said.
The third meeting of the Egyptian-Belarusian trade committee will convene in a bid to promote trade and investment cooperation, the visiting minister has said during a meeting with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Monday.
Belarusian companies are willing to contribute in underway projects in Egypt, Koltovich said, adding that the Belarusian tourism movement to Egypt will continue in the current period.
Belarus has a large expertise in manufacturing cars, tractors and trucks, he said, noting that the two countries can cooperate in this field.
Meanwhile, Ismail said Egypt is looking forward to promoting cooperation with Belarus in the industrial, trade and tourist domains.
He highlighted the government's efforts to upgrade the infrastructure for a large number of service and development projects while benefiting from the expertise of friendly states.
