
Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has sent a letter to the Prime Minister of Mali Modibo Keita. The letter deals with bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in all domains.
The message was delivered today by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, to Abdoulaye Diop, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Mali, at the Ministry's headquarters. Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation was present.
Sheikh Abdullah and Diop discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in various fields. They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the African arena.
Sheikh Abdullah wished further development, better communication and extending joint cooperation bridges in the best interest of the two peoples. He also confirmed the UAE's keenness on boosting ties with the African countries, especially Mali, in the economic, trade and investment fields through promoting trade exchange and enhancing bonds in various sectors between the two countries.
On his part, the Malian minister highlighted the level of ties between the two countries, stressing his country's desire to enhance relations for the benefit of the two countries.
He also hailed the cultural boom witnessed by the UAE and the humanitarian stances and support provided by the country, especially in the charitable and humanitarian aid sectors.
