Miodrag Lekic, the defeated candidate in Montenegro's presidential election, filed an official complaint with the country's electoral commission, citing numerous irregularities.According to preliminary results, incumbent President Filip Vujanovic of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) took 51.21 percent of the votes, with 48.79 percent going to Lekic.But both candidates declared themselves winner on April 7 in the aftermath of a hard-fought and often bitter campaign, Radio Television Montenegro (RTCG) reported on Sunday.Lekic's campaign team issued complaints on the work of election commissions in the capital Podgorica and a dozen other locations in Montenegro for "violation of voting rights, electoral process and rules of procedure".
