Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi called Friday on all Syrians to halt the bloodshed in their country during the upcoming occasion of Eid Al-Adha. In a Presidential statement, the Egyptian leader urged Syrians to halt all kinds of violence and stop the fighting, raging for more than 17 months. He stressed that Egypt's relation with Syria had compelled him to call for peace in the brotherly Arab nation, affirming that his country would back up all steps to bring peace there. President Morsi said that the upcoming Eid Al-Adha should be a chance to hold all kinds of operations and maybe ending the crisis in Syria.
