Morsi receives phone call from French counterpart

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi received this evening a telephone call from his French counterpart Francois Hollande. They discussed ways to boost bilateral relations. Sources at the Egyptian presidency said the two leaders also discussed the latest developments of the Syrian crisis besides a number of issues of common concern. The Egyptian president is currently on a visit to China during which he is hold talks with Chinese officials on expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
