A two-story cafe in downtown Moscow caught fire on Saturday but there were no immediate report about damage and casualties. The fire engulfed an area of over 700 square meters, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's local branch told Xinhua. Heavy smoke with the smell of sulfuric acid billowed from the building near a subway station. People in the building have been evacuated, a police officer said. Firefighters wearing gas masks were working at the scene. And traffic police were dispersing vehicles coming in the direction of the crossroad, where a business complex is located. Emergency teams asked reporters to stay clear from the smoking building for safety reasons.
