Moslehi:Any anti-Iran attempt by US will face crushing response

Intelligence Minister Hojjatoleslam Heydar Moslehi said on Thursday that Iran will give a crushing response to any mischievous act by the US government. He pointed out that Iran’s reaction will certainly be accompanied with intensity and harshness. Hojjatoleslam Moslehi made the remarks in a press conference on the recent allegations by the US about Iran’s alleged involvement in a assassination attempt against the Saudi envoy to Washington, Adel al-Jubeir. He noted that the US allegations are so baseless and childish that even the ordinary Americans will not believe them. The US Justice Department last week accused Iran of involvement in a plot to assassinate Saudi ambassador, al-Jubeir with the help from a suspected member of a Mexican drug cartel. Tehran has categorically and strongly rejected the charges terming them as anti-Iran propaganda and mere fabrication.
