
The MP, of the State of Law, Abboud al-Issawi ruled out declare a state of emergency in the country. Some media quoted an informed source, on Tuesday, as noted that the Office of the Commander in Chief of the armed forces is studying with the relevant ministers and intelligence chiefs to declare a state of emergency. The source said: "The Office of the Commander in Chief of the armed forces and security minister and intelligence chiefs are studying options to declare a state of emergency in Iraq, through the division of the country into units run by officers from the armed forces under the emergency law.
