MP of the state of law, Fatima al-Zerqani described Kurdistan's objection to the establishment of the Tigris Operations Command as "internal war". She said in a press statement: "The formation of the Tigris operations is normal, because the General Command of the Armed Forces felt the need to form this leadership in those areas," indicating that "the Tigris operations does not target any of the components of Iraq, but it was formed to protect them." She added: "The Iraqi army forces, according to the Constitution, have the right to enter any area because they are federal forces" adding that "the objection to the Tigris operation is "to keep sensitive areas under the control of a certain political party to order to influence negotiation and elections and wealth in the future ". It is mentioned that last Friday saw clashes between elements of the Tigris operations and the Personal Protection of a Kurdish member in the district of Tuz east of Tikrit, which resulted in the death of one civilian and wounding 18 of the elements of the Tigris operations forces. The Office of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Nuri al-Maliki has warned yesterday, the Peshmerga forces of change positions and move closer to the positions of the armed forces.
