Some 231 Majlis deputies in a statement on Tuesday declared that the US’ power declines as regional dictators collapse. The statement was read out by a member of Majlis presidential board, Mohammad Dehqani in an open session on Tuesday. Part of the statement reads that the collapse of the dictators in regional countries ranging from Hosni Mubarak up to Qaddafi indicates the fact that divine promise that the oppressed will gain victory over the arrogant powers will be fulfilled. The US policies in Iraq, Afghanistan and Middle East have drawn crisis to the US’ community as voices of protests are heard inside the country. Since the US is worried about the internal situation and the wave of awakening which has also spread to the US, it attributes assassination of Saudi Arabian ambassador to Iran to cover up its internal problems and divert the Americans’ and global attention from the status quo, MPs said. Condemning the US’ new plots, they declared that no plot can influence the Iranian nation’s resolve.
