Mufti's adviser Ibrahim Negm takes part in US anti-terror summit

Ibrahim Negm, an adviser to Egypt's Mufti Shawqi Allam, on Wednesday embarked on a visit to Washington to take part in the US anti-terror summit to expound the Egyptian Iftaa House's experience in standing against extremist and violence thoughts which have widely spread worldwide over the past period.
In a statement released by Iftaa House in Cairo Wednesday, Negm said the terrorist groups, whatever their names are, emanated from one ideology of violence; the Kharijites (one of the most dangerous sects in Islam who revolted against Muslims' rule in early periods of Islam and was the first to declare Muslims to be unbelievers because of their sins).
Negm reiterated that black terrorism is a serious danger for the whole world, noting that Islam has stood against all forms of violence, terrorism and attempts to stir up chaos anywhere.
He called on world countries to support Egypt in its war against terrorism, noting that Egypt has sounded the alarm over the dangers of terrorism over the past 40 years.
The Mufti's participation in the US anti-terror summit comes as part of Iftaa House's keenness on attending all international fora to show a correct image about Islam and Muslims, especially in the western media and decision-making centers.
