Muslims will certainly stage a more fervent 'Disavowal of Pagans Rally' during the Hajj pilgrimage this year due to the growing waves of Islamic awakening and freedom of nations from the yoke of several dictatorial regimes in the region, a senior Iranian legislator said.Speaking to FNA on Monday, member of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Parviz Sorouri said Muslim pilgrims who are interested in Islamic awakening and have seen its results will be much eager this year to attend the disavowal of pagan rally during the Hajj ritual. Disavowal of Pagans ritual is a rally held by hundreds of thousands of Iranian pilgrims as well as pilgrims from other countries during the Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca each year. During the rally, which is an initiative of the Founder of the Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini, pilgrims chant anti-US and anti-Zionist slogans."Countries that were against us before the Islamic awakening, are on Iran's side this year because nations have become vigilant through the Islamic awakening and now understand the deep concept of disavowal of pagans," Sorouri stated. He pointed to Saudi Arabia's military intervention in Bahrain and Yemen to suppress popular protests, and underlined that Muslims will stage a stronger presence in this year's rally to also show their opposition and anger at the Saudi rulers who serve the US in the region. "The sensitivity of Muslim nations has reached its peak due to the crimes committed by the Al Saud (dynasty) in Bahrain and suppression of the people in the Eastern parts of Saudi Arabia," he reiterated.
