Narcotics control directorate announces arrest of smugglers in Rajab

The General Directorate of Narcotics Control announced today the arrest of 65 drug smugglers and dealers of Saudis and different nationalities in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the month of Rajab, 1434 AH, noting that the value of the seized quantities of drugs during this period amounted to SR 68,761,304. It pointed out that the seized drugs included the following: - (1,028,640) one ton, twenty-eight kilograms, six hundred and forty grams of narcotic Hashish. - 953,392 Captagon drug pills. - Raw heroin, (3,760) three kilograms, seven hundred and sixty grams. -- Narcotic Cocaine, (271) two hundred and seventy-one grams. -- 96,450 pills under medical control. -- Shebo narcotic material (1,985) one kilogram, nine hundred and eighty-five grams. The Directorate pointed to the seizure of 16 pistols and two machine guns.
