Nasrullah to remain armed and steadfast in confronting Israel

Quoting Qur'anic verses in praise of martyrdom, Hizbullah chief Hassan Nasrullah commemorated 3 party leaders; Abbas Mousawi, Ragheb Harb and Imad Mughniyyeh who died in their holy war against Israeli occupation. Addressing via link on a wide screen at the complex of the Lord of all Martyrs in Rweis/South Beirut, Nasrullah told thousands of supporters and allies that his party would remain armed, alert and steadfast vis-a-vis Israel. This is the testament and school of thought of all 3 and, we intend to honour it he retorted. The Hizbullah chief stressed animosity towards Israel out of patriotic and religious duty and that his sole option remains to be "armed-popular resistance." Nasrullah reiterated party commitment to Palestine at a time the Cause becomes virtually absent in Arab narrative. He named Mousa Sadr as his mentor and credited his party with fighting for over than 30 years in order to modify local/regional equations as they stand today. This was merely achieved through blood sacrifice and deterrence of further Israeli aggression he added. Nasrullah offered condolences to Iran at the death of Housam Khoshmeveis at the hands of Syrian rebels and designated him as a martyr for Palestine. He expressed hope for an imminent recovery of the Arab World currently in the grip of its Spring since in his words, Israel grabbed its golden opportunity in those events. He singled out the revolution in Bahrain on account of the non-violent character of the uprising and well wished them speedy victory. He accused Arab regimes and certain Lebanese politicians of propagating an imminent Israeli war on Lebanon in order to push ahead with demands for disarming his party. The Chief refuted EU-Bulgarian party blacklisting as a terrorist organization saying Hizbullah is being demonized or victimized by them. The Chief added that many attacks targeted Israelis around the World with no response thus far in sight. He warned against aggressing Lebanon saying leaders must calculate 1 million times before ever wagging a finger at Lebanon. Despite the Syrian civil strife, his party remains well-equipped and ready to fight back, he warned the Israelis. He threatened to blackout Israel for 6 months if it ever dares to attack our worn-out Lebanese electricity grids. In his open-ended account with Israel as he termed it, Hasan Nasrullah made a strong pledge to the spilled blood of all 3 martyrs and turned to lambast Saad Hariri whom he accused of insulting his own farther. He refuted Hariri's claim of bribing the prime minister arguing that Berri was the one who "sacrificed" one of his own to make way for Karami's joining the cabinet. He praised both Aoun and Mikati as reliable and highly moral allies and duly condoned the Greek-Orthodox electoral law espoused by general Aoun. He accused Hariri (junior) of inciting Jumblatt to fight Hizbullah albeit; the party would have no stake in that whatsoever. Not even that, Hariri strives to carry the Syrian conflict into Lebanon. He recapped on what he claimed as Hariri Senior consent to let Hizbullah keep its weapons at the ready while he himself would be ready to leave politics altogether. He added that the Turks and the Qataris also consented to party holding onto its weapons in order to confront Israel. Nasrullah refuted party monopoly of power but acknowledged that compromises with allies have only one sole purpose: ' up keeping the anti-Israeli Jihad" maintaining peaceful coexistence between sects and self-reliance
