President of the Republic Michel Sleiman on Thursday pursued Lebanese national dialogue related talks with a number of Baabda palace visitors. MP Michel Murr, the former Vice Prime Minister, tackled with Sleiman most recent political developments, as well as negotiations leading back to the dialogue table. Maronite General Council Head, former Minister Wadih Khazen, had also been to Baabda Palace for domestic-related talks with the President. Separately, Abdul Hadi Mahfouz, head of the Media National Council, briefed the President over the council's role in mitigating political rhetoric so as to anchor a state of calm amid the escalating political tension witnessed in the country.
