The National Iraqi Alliance is deeply concerned over recent statements by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the liberation of Mosul.
Also, the Turkish parliament has recently decided to extend the deployment of Turkish troops in Iraq and Syria, which, the alliance says, is yet another concern.
Erdogan had said that his country would contribute to operations to liberate Mosul and would not be stopped from doing that by any party.
The alliance, in a statement on Tuesday, rejected Erdogan's statements and saw them as interference in Iraq's domestic affairs.
It called on Ankara to immediately withdraw Turkish troops from Iraq and maintain good neighborliness relations with Baghdad.
Turkey should respect the sovereignty of Iraq and refrain from provocative actions, the alliance urged.
