The Nepalese government has decided to hold the new Constituent Assembly (CA) election in Nov. 19 this year for drafting a new constitution, the government said on Thursday. The Interim Election Government formed in March 13 for holding the election, took such decision through a cabinet meeting. Issuing a public statement about the Cabinet meeting, the Nepalese government urged all the concerned stakeholders to contribute from their side to make the election a success. The government has said that successful completion of the election will end the political instability. The government also finalized the disputed issues of the election laws. The cabinet meeting asked the poll opposing parties to come in the election process. The government also formed Constituency Delineation Commission to crave electoral constituencies as per the new Census Report 2011. Meanwhile, 42 political parties have taken a serious exception to the government's decision to announce the poll date without consultations with them. Issuing a press release, they warned of launching agitation against the government's decision. The parties have been agitating ever since the formation of Interim Election Government under sitting Chief Justice Khilraj Regmi. They have been demanding for the formation of a partisan government for conducting the CA elections. Nepal is holding the second CA election after the CA election in 2008 dissolved in May 2012 without delivering a new constitution.
