
A new batch of humanitarian and relief aid to the Syrian people arrived in Damascus International Airport on Sunday morning. The aid, which includes foodstuffs and milk for children, was collected by the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society, based in St. Petersburg in Russia, SANA reported. The batches of humanitarian and relief aid are to help the Syrian people face the crisis they are exposed to due to the terrorist attacks and the unfair economic sanctions imposed on them. Since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, Russian people and government delivered several batches of humanitarian aid were delivered to the Syrian people, the last of which was the arrival of two Russian planes with 44 tons of aid on board to Lattakia Airport last December.
