
Newly-formed government of Egypt's caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Hazem Al-Beblawi was sworn in on Tuesday in front of the interim president Adly Mansour at the presidential palace. The official Middle East News Agency said Dr. Al-Beblawi performed the swearing-in. Then, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi swore in as Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense. Also joining in the ceremonial oath-taking were Dr. Bahaa-Eddine as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Cooperation and Dr. Husam Issa as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Educations. The other members who also took the oath were Hisham Za'zou as Minister of Tourism, Reda Hafez as Minister of State for War Production, Ahmad Shaaban as Minister of Electricity, Major General Mohammad Ibrahim as Minister of Interior, Atef Hilmi as Minister of Communications and Technology, Dr. Ayman Abu Hadidi as Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and Munir Abdul Nour as Minister of Commerce and Industry. The cabinet also includes Ahmad Al-Buraei as Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Mohammad Ali Sayed as Minister of Artifacts, Dr. Mohammed Arab as Minister of Culture, Usama Saleh as Minister of Investments, Dr. Asharf Al-Arabi as Minister of Planning, Adel Labib as Minister of Domestic Development, Justie Mohammad Al-Mehdi as Minister of Justice and Mohammad Fahmi as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Also in the government were Abdul Aziz Abul Aziz as Minister of Civil Aviation, Dr. Ahmad Jamal as Minister of Finance and Dr. Ibrahim Abu Shadi as Minister of Supplies. Ibrahim Mahlab was named Minister of Housing, Dr. Duraya Sharaf-Eddine Minister of Information, Dr. Leila Saeed Minister of State for Environmental Affairs, Sherif Ismail Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Dr. Ramzi George Minister of Scientific Research, Maha Al-Abedine Minister of Health and Housing, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mutalleb Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation and Dr. Mohammed Mabrouk Minister of Awqaf. Also taking the oath were Dr. Mohammad Abul-Naser as Minister of Education, Jamal Refae as Minister of Labor and Immigration, Khaled Mahmoud Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Taher Sayed as Minister of State for Sports Affairs.
