New Slovak government of Prime Minister Robert Fico won a confidence vote in the parliament on Tuesday.
Lawmakers voted for the government manifesto by 79 to 61, out of a total of 142 presented members of parliament.
Parliamentary Chairman Andrej Danko and Prime Minister Robert Fico didn't join the vote, because both underwent surgeries and remained in hospital.
The government manifesto focuses on four broad priorities, including unemployment and regional disparities.
Fico's leftist Smer-Social Democracy party garnered 49 seats out of a total of 150 in the parliament in the March 5 election. It formed a majority government with three other parties.
