
The Federal ministries and entities will be off work on Wednesday, the 1st of January 2014, to mark the new year, according to a circular issued today by Humaid bin Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR). The circular, which is based on the provisions of paragraph 5, article no. 100 of the cabinet decision no 13 of 2010 of the federal law and no 11 of 2008 on government human resources, stated that work will resume on Thursday 2nd January 2014. Al Qattami congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates and people of the U.A.E. on the occasion.
