
Speaker of Parliament, Usama al-Nijaifi, continues his efforts to end the crisis between the Government and the sit-in square in Ramadi. A statement issued on Wednesday, Dec. 25, by the Speaker’s Office said that Nijaifi made a phone call with Vice President, Khoda'yir al-Khuza'e, as part of his ongoing efforts to encircle the crisis of sit-in square in Ramadi and find a suitable solution to put an end to it. It added that the two agreed on the necessity to for quick measures to prevent the crisis from getting deteriorated. For his part, Khuza'e, said that he started preparations for a meeting of political blocs’ leaders, as well as religious and social activists who have signed the Document of Honor and Social Peace to discuss the crisis and reach a suitable solution to prevent military option of storming the sit-in squares in Anbar. / End.
