Norway's Foreign Minister visits Egypt next week

Norway's Foreign Minister Espen Eide is due to arrive in Cairo on Tuesday on a two-day visit, during which he will hold talks with President Mohammed Morsi and Prime Minister Hisham Qandil. Eide's talks with the Egyptian officials will focus on the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the future of the peace process between Palestinians and Israelis and the Syrian crisis as well as ways to promote relations, a diplomatic source told MENA on Thursday. Eide's visit to Cairo comes as part of a regional tour, which includes also Palestine, Israel and Jordan.
