Number of Syrian refugees in Zaatari camp rise

The number of Syrian refugees in the Zaatari camp rose to 45,207 after 243 refugees crossed into Jordan yesterday due to the continued violence in their country, Government spokesman for Syrian refugee affairs Anmar Hmoud said. Hmoud added that Jordan is working relentlessly with international organizations to provide assistance to the refugees in the camp located near Mafraq, 80km northeast of Amman. He said that 131 refugees left the camp to their country upon their request yesterday.
