US President Barack Obama and his rival Mitt Romney continue today their electoral campaigns in an attempt to win the support of Americans for the presidential elections on November 6th. In this context, Obama today will travel to California where he will meet with thousands of supporters in San Francisco before heading to Ohio on Tuesday. In turn, Republican rival Romney will head today to Virginia for a speech on foreign policy which is aimed at further pressuring Obama. The tours come at a time when the latest surveys have shown that Republican candidate Romney succeeded in reducing the difference in points against Obama to only two points for the US President. This success is due Romney’s performance, described by observers as successful, in his first debate with President Obama. The competition is intensifying to win in crucial States, particularly Ohio, through which winners were able to reach the White House in the latest US elections. Candidates are preparing for the second debate due to take place on October 16th, which will focus on domestic and foreign policy. In the meantime, both Vice President Joe Biden and his Republican rival Paul Ryan are preparing for their only debate due to take place next Thursday, and will also focus on foreign and domestic policy.
