Obama, NATO Secretary General discuss ways to fight ISIS

US President Barack Obama discussed on Monday with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg the progress in the battle against ISIS and the response to last month's attack in Brussels, where NATO is headquartered.
After his meeting last night with Stoltenberg in the White House, Obama said that NATO is making great efforts in fighting ISIS, adding that he discussed with NATO Secretary General several issues, including ways to establish security and stability in Afghanistan.
"We are continuing to cooperate on an ongoing basis about operations potentially in areas like Libya," Obama said.
During his visit, which will last until next Thursday, Stoltenberg will held meetings with officials in the US administration and Congress.
The visit comes days after Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump accused US allies of not pulling their weight in the NATO military alliance, despite a call from President Barack Obama to tone down his foreign policy rhetoric.
