Omani minister meets Yemeni official

Omani Minister in Charge of Foreign Affairs Youssuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah met here today with Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Qurbi on the sidelines of the 12th foreign ministers meeting of countries overlooking the Indian Ocean, currently under way in the Indian city of Georgao. Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations, developments in Yemen and steps taken in the context of the GCC initiative to achieve a political settlement in Yemen. Matters related to the league of countries overlooking the Indian Ocean also featured in the talks.
