Omani – Vietnamese joint committee to meet in Muscat Sunday

The second session of the Omani – Vietnamese Joint Committee will open on Sunday to be chaired by Omani Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidi, and his Vietnamese counterpart Vu Huy Hoang .The two sides will discuss the prospects of cooperation in various fields of economy , trade, investment and cultural relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Vietnam , and ways to increase bilateral trade, investment opportunities, and cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries .The trade relations between the Sultanate and Vietnam have been strengthened since the two countries signed a trade agreement in May 2004 as a first step towards developing economic and trade relations , where the size of bilateral trade was witnessing a positive development , especially during the past three years .
