Protestors in Egypt took to the streets to protest against new constitutional declaration issued by President Mohammad Morsi late Thursday. The "million man march", which got underway in the Tahrir Square, is organized by various opposition forces who called for a nationwide protests to withdraw the constitutional declaration, resolve the Constitutional Assembly and find a national medium that joins together all the country's various parties. Islamists' groups, however, such as the Muslim Brotherhood and the salafist group have expressed their agreement with Mursi's decision to write Egypt's new constitution. Meanwhile, tight security measures have been seen in the country's big squares as a anitcipation of the demonstrations. Egypt's Ministry of Interior called on the organizers of this rally to avoid any physical clashes with security forces to ensure safety and peacefulness of the protests.
